Support Our Temple's Future
For over 20 years, Leicester Murugan Temple has been a place of worship, devotion, and community for thousands of devotees across Leicester and the United Kingdom. Through your continued support, we have celebrated countless festivals, performed daily poojas, nurtured our traditions, and provided a spiritual home for generations.
Today, our temple faces an important new chapter.
Our current lease is coming to an end, and we must relocate to a new property. This presents us with an opportunity not only to secure a new home for Lord Murugan and our deities but also to create a permanent temple that will serve devotees for generations to come.
How Your Donation Helps
Every donation, regardless of size, directly supports our Temple Relocation & Building Fund. Your generosity will help us:
- Secure a suitable property for the temple.
- Renovate and prepare the new premises for worship.
- Construct and install shrines for Lord Murugan and our deities.
- Cover relocation and essential building costs.
- Preserve Tamil Hindu traditions and provide a spiritual home for future generations.
Leave a Lasting Legacy
As a token of our gratitude, devotees who contribute £1,001 or more towards the Temple Relocation Fund will have their names permanently displayed on our Temple Donor Board, recognising their generous contribution to this historic project.

Every Donation Makes a Difference
A temple is more than a building—it is a place where faith is nurtured, traditions are preserved, children learn their heritage, and communities come together.
Whether your contribution is £10 or £10,000, every donation brings us one step closer to securing a permanent home for Lord Murugan and our deities.
We sincerely thank you for your generosity and pray that Lord Murugan blesses you and your family with good health, happiness, prosperity, and peace.
